CONFERENCE RECAP

Rhonda’s Promise, Inc. hosted its 4th Annual Girls Chat Conference – Pajama Party with a Purpose for Middle and High School girls on Saturday, December 6, 2025, 9:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Aloft Hotel in Delray Beach.

The girls received a swag bag, water bottles, customized potato chips, a program booklet and gift cards for their favorite restaurants. New this year we added a “Hot Chocolate Bar” which was a huge success.

The Girls Chat Conference 2025 was for young girls in middle and high school. The Girls Chat Conference was designed to help young girls identify, understand, and flex their leadership muscles within their respective spaces and beyond. The conference focused on building the attendees’ awareness, social skills, and academic success. The conference created a culture that is focused on proactively counteracting race inequities by providing workshops. Empowerment is the key to impacting social change and building leadership.

The Girls Chat Conference planted a seed of confidence within the young female participants to be or become a leader, thinker, advocate…a champion for self and other girls. This year, we focused on empowering girls with tools that can be used for using their voice. The keynote speaker, Lisa LaFrance, shared her story and allowed the girls to interview her. The teens who actively participated received a customized bling microphone, which represents power and self-confidence.

The attendees had an opportunity to hear from and/or meet inspiring female community leaders and speakers in a wide range of career fields. The girls received 4 Community Service Hours for attending.
